Every child has a favorite TV show. Why not make it the foundation of your next Birthday party? There are lots of great ideas on our TV and Movie theme pages to your left.

Now, I know what some of you may be saying: "Don't the kids see enough TV - why make a birthday party out of it too?" But there are so many high-quality shows on TV now, you can wrap lots of educational and entertaining ideas around them. This brings an added value to your child's TV time.

Some of the ages for each party will be evident by the show that you see listed, because each show appeals to a certain age range. Use your judgement though (as always) to determine if the activites listed are too young or too mature for your child and the general maturity level of the guests attending.

Also, there are a couple of ideas for older pre-teens and teens on our site: we have ideas for a Lord of the Rings Party, a Harry Potter Party and a Series of Unfortunate Events Party (that's one of my daughter's favorite books!) Some of these themes on this page can even be adapted to suit the pre-teen or teen - one my my daughter's 15 year old friends had a "Care Bear" party last year, and they had a giggly fun night of it.
